2x4 Heart Health on its own tastes divine! It has a citrusy yet sweet taste that is absolutely delish. However, just for an additional kick, we combined 2x4 Heart Health with this Breakfast Smoothie Bowl, which is packed with vitamins and minerals essential for a healthy, nutritious diet.
The best part about smoothies in a bowl? Toppings. In this recipe, I’ve added mangoes, papaya, and bananas which are loaded with all kinds of vitamins like Vitamin C, A, K and B6. Smoothie bowls are versatile though, so feel free to top it off with whatever you like. You can even add granola and nuts to add a satisfying crunch to every bite.
Citrus and Mango Smoothie Bowl
- 1 banana (frozen)
- ½ cup mangoes (frozen)
- ½ cup papaya (frozen)
- ½ cup kale
- 1½ cup almond milk ( or your favorite milk)
- ½ lime juice
- 1 tablespoon protein powder
- 1 tablespoon oat flour
- 1 teaspoon of 2x4 Heart Health
Add almond milk and lime juice to your blender. Next, mix in the rest of your ingredients and blend until smooth.
Transfer to a bowl and mix 1 teaspoon of 2x4 Heart Health™ and use the remaining ingredients as topping. Now shh and enjoy in secret cause this only makes for one. (To make it for the whole family, simply adjust ingredients accordingly.)
