Hi! My name is Rachel Katz and I'm a 2x4 Nutritional Scientist, Certified Alternative Nutritionist, Yoga Teacher, Wellness Embodiment Coach, and founder of "The Full Life by Rachel". During my first year of college, after years of struggling with an eating disorder, OCD, anxiety, and depression, I decided to embark on a holistic healing journey.

Once I discovered the power of a nourishing diet, supplements, movement, & meditation, I wanted to help others heal as I did! It is now my life's purpose to help others heal from anything holding them back from having healthier relationships- with food, their bodies, themselves, and others- so that they can truly live a full life!

I hold a degree in Nutritional Science & Certificate in Alternative Nutrition from Cal State in LA. My specialty and focus is on Holistic Nutrition, Immune Support, Eating Disorders, Diabetes, Weight Management, Women's Health, Mood Disorders.

Expert Advice
I workout regularly, so my favorite its 2x4 Joints & Muscles™. When working out on a regular basis, inflammation can occur, which is what leads to muscle soreness, aches and pains. Working with a professional nutritionist is the best way to ensure you're eating the right diet and getting enough of the right nutrients and supplements for your body and lifestyle. I recommend speaking with your doctor or primary healthcare provider to ensure you don't have any nutritional gaps in your diet.

Some of the very best ways to keep your immune system strong are to eat a balanced diet loaded with fruits and vegetables, keep a healthy weight, exercise regularly, avoid smoking and drinking alcohol (except in moderation), get adequate sleep every night, and try to keep your stress levels as low as possible.

Bright colored fruits and veggies are great for staving off cold and flu viruses. Foods like beets, butternut squash, oranges, mangoes, and sweet potatoes are all great sources of Vitamin C and Vitamin A.

There are many things you can do to help regulate your hormones, but the most effective tips are to exercise regularly, avoid sugar and highly processed foods as much as possible, eat lots of healthy fats and proteins, get consistent amounts of good sleep every night, keep your stress levels low, and drink green tea.

There is no quick trick for managing your weight- it comes from maintaining good, healthy habits like drinking enough water, and eating a nutritious diet loaded with fruits and veggies. But there are supplements you can take to help maximize your ability to keep weight off. I recommend incorporating Turmeric into your regimen, which can really help to address areas of inflammation throughout your body and help your ability to recover faster.

I recommend getting started on your supplement journey with a simple multivitamin. It's a quick, easy wy to help fill in those nutrient gaps you may be missing in your diet alone.

My advice would be that supplements are no substitute for your diet. The number one most important thing you can do for your overall health and wellness is to eat a nutritious diet loaded with vegetables and fruits. Supplements are a great way to make up for any nutritional deficiencies, but they aren't a magic cure-all. You still need to give your body the right kind of fuel it needs to thrive.

I mix mine with water! The water helps the vitamins dilute and mix well together, and makes it easier to drink first thing in the morning.
